Our Story
Brabham’s Outdoor Power Centre.
Brabham’s Outdoor Power Centre is a family owned and operated Bathurst business. Doris & Eric Brabham opened Bathurst Paint Hardware & Gift store in William Street in the early 1950’s.
In the late 1960’s when situated in George Street we were appointed the STIHL distributor and service agent for the Central Tablelands. This part of our business grew dramatically as did the STIHL company in Australia, placing us as one of the top state dealers.
A change took place in 1991 and we built new premises on the corner of Rankin and Durham streets (on the highway). We now specialise in small motors, chainsaws, mowers, brushcutters, generators and lots more. We service all brands.
The business is now expertly run by Wendy, Clive, Paul, Beth (who has been with us 20 years) & Peter Lillie.
We pride ourselves on our friendly personal service and quick turn around on all repairs.
